Certificate of Approval Applications for Air & Noise completed to Ontario Ministry of Environment requirements (Ontario Regulation 419/05) under the Environmental Protection Act of Ontario using published Guidelines. Annual Written Summaries required by Comprehensive Certificates of Approval. O. Reg. 419/05 Schedule 2 and 3 Point of Impingement limits for designated facilities and dispersion modelling for Reg. 346 Ver. 2 Maximum Ground Level Concentration, Tiered modelling under Air Dispersion Modelling Guideline of Ontario with ISC-Prime & Aermod advanced modelling requirements for facilities designated by 2010, 2013 and 2020. Certificate of Approval Applications for Waste Disposal Sites (including Waste Transfer, Processing or Composting Sites) completed to Ontario Ministry of Environment requirements under the Environmental Protection Act of Ontario and its Regulations.

3R's Waste Audits, 3R's Packaging Audits, Stewardship Ontario

Ontario Ministry of Environment, 3R's Waste Audits (Ontario Regulation 102/94 & 103/94) and 3R's Packaging Audits (Ontario Regulation 104/94) exceeding regulatory requirements. Also providing waste management program services to assess current methods & contracts, provide recommendations for improvements and solutions, negotiation of new services, ongoing verification of billing, tracking and reporting of all reuse/recycling/landfill of wastes, summary reporting and assessment of progress. Stewardship Ontario Reports including calculations for reporting and obligations payments.

Compliance & Management System Audits

Compliance Audits for Environmental and/or Health & Safety Acts and Regulations are carried out by experienced auditors using methods as suggested by published standards. Reports are delivered with a short turnaround time to allow for quick review and action.

Emissions & Substance Reporting

Emissions and Substance Reporting is provided for the National Pollutant Release Inventory (under the Canadian Environmental Protection Act), for the Airborne Contaminant Discharge program (Ontario Regulation 127/01) and for the new Toxics Reduction Act and Regulation (Ontario Regulation 455/09).

Air, Noise, Water, Odour Sampling & Testing

Air, Noise, Water, Odour Sampling & Testing is carried out to applicable standards and requirements as specified by regulatory bodies to ensure the validity and usefulness of findings. Air and noise testing may be external to buildings to measure impacts to neighbouring properties (environmental regulations) or internal to measure impacts to employees (health and safety regulations). Water testing will provide a measure for assessing discharges to sanitary and sewer systems as well as natural watercourses. Odour testing is specific to process releases and potential impacts to neighbouring properties.
